(More customer reviews)This microwave center arrived undamaged with all the pieces.The directions are not very clear, so if you are not mechanically inclined you may need some help.It took me just under an hour to assemble the unit, and I am extremely mechanical.The pieces all fit very well, but I had to assume on some points as the clarity of the drawings is not the best and it does require some mechanical intuition.That being said, this unit is everything it is represented to be.I am just getting started setting up housekeeping, and the budget is tight, so I opted for a less expensive (but good looking) unit.It is made of laminated "chipboard", but the fit and finish were fine (looks great in my kitchen) and the size is extremely generous.I have a 1000 watt microwave, and it fits perfecly.The adjustable shelves are a plus as there is ample storage both above and below.If you're looking for a good starter unit, this one can't be beat.I would recommend this to family and friends.
