(More customer reviews)I found this set at Target while trying to replace some of my down and out plastic food storage containers.
The glass is thick enough to be useful for baking and the lids seem sturdy enough to stand up to repeated microwave use. The inner seal on the lid is quite thick and seems to hold them shut really well. The sizes included are perfect for storing leftovers. The 4 cup size is probably what I would use to take lunch to work. The 7 cup is what I would call family size, and the 2 cup is good for sauces or individual servings of side dishes.
I didn't see this anywhere in the product description, but according to the box they are also freezer safe. Per the instructions, I would not transfer any of them directly to the freezer from the oven. Let it cool off to room temperature first.
4/5 stars because I haven't put them through the dishwasher yet, and haven't had them long enough to torture them thoroughly. Also, the two that are the same size don't stack very neatly, but the different sizes stack inside each other just fine so I keep two stacks. One 2 cup inside the 4 cup, and one 4 cup inside the 7 cup.
