Or you can also use to melt carmels yours or commercial bought ones with wrappers removed...also you can find blocks of carmel also but anyway you melt the carmels in the microwave couldn't be more simple and you can use it as a dipper for pieces of dunk the whole apple into the carmel and then let set up on wax paper and stick with a stick and enjoy like an oldfashion carmel apple. I wish it was smaller but for plastic seems sturdy enough and looks like it should hold up over time. I have their popcorn popper for microwave too. Not so happy with it but is that my microwave or the popper or the combination of the two. Some peoples microwaves work geat with the popper others like mine not so hot.
