The item description says "new". The unit I received was definitely not new. THe sticker on the motor was scuffed and dingy, and around the screw holes you could see the tell-tale little bite marks where screws had fastened the motor.
Would I still have bought this motor had I known it was used? Absolutely. For that price you can't go wrong. But the item description should really say used, or reconditioned, or recertified, or something
